Britain News.Net Friday 25th July, 2008
Seven bombs have gone off in the southern Indian city of Bangalore.
All of the blasts were reported to have gone off in crowded areas, killing one woman and injuring several passers-by.
Police say it appears the bombs were set off in a serial fashion over the space of fifteen minutes.
They say the bombs were detonated with timing devices.
Police have cordoned off the blast sites and have also restricted movement around shopping malls, schools and cinemas.
Bangalore is the information technology hub of India with more than 40% of the country's IT industry based there.

Seven bombs explode in Bangalore business district
I was quiet unaware of d fact until 3pm.but since then the local cops of vasanthnagar, ensured our safety as much as possible.but tho they did so,they cant very constantly keep a check on us.u never know...al des sort of happenings are so unpredictable.so it would be appreciable if the govt decides to grant leave toschools and colleges to ensure the safety of the younger citizens in a easier way.its not reaaly easy for the parents aswel let out their offsprings because its a matter of risk or safety.
thanking you,

end the menace
since long such events of bomb blast murder dacoity etc has become part n parcel of the daily life n its high time the government takes this even more seriously the administeration should be handed over to the military commandos till such time it is cleared thouroughly of the culprits this will automatically finish the hide n seek game of the culprits from one state to anther which is the main loophole of their escape `thourough searches for illegal possessions of arms and weapons and ammunitions etc must be carried out with the assistance of civil authorities and the scoundrels rounded up
