Ronaldo splashes 140k pounds on new Bentley
Britain News.Net Sunday 14th September, 2008 (ANI)
London, Sept 14 : Cristiano Ronaldo has bought a Bentley Continental GT Speed worth a whopping 140,000 pounds.
His new car's cost takes the total he has spent on motors since joining Man United five years ago above the 2 million pounds mark.
In the last three months, the 23- year-old has splashed out 630,000 pounds on cars - 340,000 pounds on a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe and 150,000 pounds on the registration plate CR7.
In February, he put his name on the two-year waiting list for a 875,000 pounds Bugatti Veyron, the 235mph supercar he once raced in a Nike ad.
Ronaldo has some of the world's most exclusive motors, including two Porsche Cayennes, a BMW M6, Bentley Continental GTC, Porsche 911, Ferrari F430 and a Merc bought for his then lover Nereida Gallardo.
His Bentley GTC is now up for sale at 99,995 pounds at a garage in Bolton, Lancs.
"Fans expect stars to blow their wages on big cars and Ronaldo's no exception," News of the World quoted a source, as saying.
