Aside from hog-raising, other topics on Davao Agri Trade Expo (DATE) include livestock, aquaculture, mushroom production, wildlife trade and conservation, coconut programs, online marketing of agri-products, and potentials of the dairy industry.

"DATE has become a platform for pushing agro-industry advocacies," Wales said.

The organizer, DCCCII, has partnered with Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) to bring one of the largest DATE to be held, which is expecting 8,000 to 10,000 delegates all over Mindanao. (PIA/RG Alama)
