British POW descendants return to honor Lisbon Maru rescue

The Lisbon Maru carrying 1,816 British POWs went down in 1942. But 384 survived, plucked from the sea by Chinese fishermen who braved Japanese soldiers' machine-gun fire. Decades later, their families came back to Dongji Island to make sure that the story would never be forgotten.
