Liverpool car crash suspect charged, due in court Friday

LONDON, 29th May, 2025 (WAM) -- A 53-year-old man has been charged by British police after a car ploughed into a crowd celebrating the Liverpool soccer team's victory earlier this week, injuring dozens.

Paul Doyle, from West Derby, Liverpool, faces seven charges, including dangerous driving and causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Arrested on Monday, Doyle is scheduled to appear before Liverpool Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Friday.
